Joe is the first graduate of the career pathway that we implemented three years ago to encourage and enable progression within the business.

He is currently driving our expanding healthcare sector and his delivery within the student residential sector is significantly contributing to its discourse. Joe’s successful track record in the delivery of these schemes spans a variety of models, for multiple clients.

Joe has taken a leading role in progressing our AI ambitions, developing our Revit capability and directing the Practice IMS and ISO certifications. His structured procedures and visionary stance are just two of the factors that make him a fantastic addition to the Director group at AWW.

Joining the practice as an Architect back in 2015, Joe quickly progressed to Associate before joining the AWW career pathway to become an Associate Director. The pathway’s measured and mentored process is designed to empower everyone in the business to seek career development opportunities. It is a pleasure to see this project come to fruition!

This career pathway is an integral part of the basis of our EOT structure which was formed in 2023 with the aim of championing our employees to explore their potential and to lead business growth.

Joe notes some of his career highlights to date as; working with people to understand their needs, and then realising their aspirations in the delivery of spaces that enhance their quality of life, particularly in the healthcare sector.

He is clear in his aspirations for the business; “I would like the quality of our work, our unique group of talented and experienced people, and our personality to shine through in all our projects and be the reasons clients come back to us again and again.”

Further promotions were celebrated last month including; Alice Ravenhill – Senior Interior Designer, Hollie Muir – Senior Architect and Rob Griffiths – Associate. Each thoroughly deserved recognition of the talent and hard work of our teams.

Joe sums up AWW in three words - Conscientious, Professional and Aspirational; in turn we would attribute all of these to you, Joe! Welcome to your new role.
