Senior Interior Designer Alex Carron Brown’s star is in the ascent; this year her talents have been recognised and celebrated across the industry and we couldn't be more proud.

At the close of 2021 Alex's accolades now include making the Mixology 30 under 30 listings, winning the Insider South West Property Awards and Bristol Property Awards Rising Star categories.

Alex is a bright, engaging and infectious Interior Designer. Her endless energy delivers exceptional projects with expert care and attention. She has been progressing her career with AWW since arriving in 2015. Since then her flair for design, attention to detail and exceptional client rapport has seen her gain practice wide respect for her work.

Alex’s experience is sector-wide and her knowledge covers concept to completion.

One such project is Parmenion, her vision was to deliver an agile workplace that reflected Parmenion’s identity whilst focussing on staff wellbeing. The resultant award-winning project is a living example of how Alex’s vision, passion for design, unfaltering determination, and ability to push boundaries can improve quality of life at work.

Despite the pandemic Alex delivered several innovative and recognised projects: The Distillery at Glassfields, our new home pivot + mark and St James’s Place Wealth Management. All projects were delivered under unique circumstances – the country was in lockdown and the nation was operating form home. Alex was able to design and complete these projects remotely to the highest standard.

Most recently she has pushed the boundaries even further working on the first Leonardo branded hotel in the UK.

Alex was challenged by the client to develop a new standard for the hotel group. She excelled offering a more streamlined approach to bedroom design and fittings, with efficient furniture solutions that accommodate the short stay guests. As well as a new concept for the restaurant and bar bespoke to the site and history of the Glassfields site, making this more than just a standard hotel.

Alex is known, liked, respected and trusted across both our practice and the industry as a whole. She has a unique ability to make her vision come alive for clients, her engaging personality and design flair are infectious. Through her multi-disciplined dedicated approach, quality work, boundless energy and unwavering calm she continually surpasses client visions and aspirations securing repeat work.
