Katie originally gained an MEng Architectural Structural Engineering, sparked by her interest in the world of architecture. Whilst her career then headed in a very different direction, Katie’s passion for the built environment never faded.
Having worked her way up to Manager in accountancy practices PWC and BDO, Katie found herself leading the audit for AWW. After several years, AWW’s projects and friendly environment enticed Katie to move in-house as the practice Financial Controller. For Katie, this was a unique opportunity to combine her professional and personal interests.
Now AWW’s Finance Director, Katie also heads up the practice’s HR and office management. In her role, Katie has instigated many practice-wide processes that contribute to AWW’s progress and to staff wellbeing.
