Hazelbrook Campus, Selworthy School

AWW was appointed under the Scape Framework to design and deliver a SEN secondary age provision for Somerset County Council. The school has capacity for 80 - 100 pupils who are classed as non-ambulant, with physical and learning difficulties. The scheme includes the design of classrooms, dining/hall, sensory and therapy rooms, administration space, medical spaces, specialist teaching rooms, meeting rooms, storage, and staff room. In addition to valuable outdoor space including sensory gardens, habitat areas, MUGA and adventure playground. The addition of this new build purpose built facility has allowed the SEN primary and secondary school pupils to occupy individual learning environments.
