The Farmiloe in Clerkenwell has been shortlisted by the new London Architecture Awards 2020 for the Conserving category. The awards are a celebration of the very best architecture, planning and development schemes across London which are positively impacting the capital to make it a better place to live, work and play.

The Farmiloe is a stunning example of Victorian architecture and a Clerkenwell landmark. Our vision for this project was to bring the Farmiloe back into modern day use for a new generation to enjoy. The ambition was to retain the character whilst also providing an interlinked new building. To do this we have sympathetically integrated new architecture to bring the building back to life. The new and the old are connected by an atrium running the full length of the site. The 100,000sqft development is highly sustainable and can operate as naturally ventilated or though the sympathetically integrated ventilation and cooling system.
