This month marks a significant moment in AWW’s history; celebrating our company’s unique culture and recognising that our business is built upon the hard work and commitment of our employees.

We are a close knit, talented, creative team and together we’ve built a supportive, human-centred way of doing business. As a collective we challenge the norm and dare to dream.

We have now transitioned to operating as an Employee Owned Trust (EOT).

Day to day it will be business as usual for AWW; the Directors will remain in their current roles running the practice, with Mark Alker Stone continuing as Practice Director.

The move recognises the wider team’s contribution to our ongoing success and delivers on our core values as a people focused business. Over the last 18 months we have been on a journey of self evaluation and review; setting ourselves social value targets and holding ourselves accountable to achieving them. In doing so we have celebrated the way in which we govern ourselves, as a business, and how we look after our employees, culminating last month in achieving the Silver Award for the Social Value Quality Mark.

This transition is part of our continuous business improvement programme and evidences our determination to invest in our greatest asset; our employees.

“It is fantastic to see the aspiration to become an EOT fulfilled; we were looking at ways to enhance our employees’ sense of ownership and the EOT model is a perfect fit for us.” David Perkin, Director
